Payam Data Recovery has always been my go to when it comes to any form of recovery, however this time was different because it wasn't a hard drive, it was a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with a bootloop.I needed access to the photos which was extremely important. Wes at the Adelaide office was really kind and helpful, I was a bit emotional when I dropped my phone off as I was so scared I wouldn’t be able to get my data back as I had dropped my phone at the beach over Christmas. He was very reassuring that they have a high success rate and the team know what they are doing. We are talking years of baby photos that were saved… I had no backed up my data to my laptop in a LONG time so lesson learnt. It was successful and only took about 3 weeks in the end. Following advice from 2 computing expert organisations informing me that my Laptop was beyond repair & all data would not be able to be retrieved as you could not log in, I placed the laptop in a cupboard & forgot about it. Post Covid I did a spring clean & found the old laptop which was effectively now taking up space. Went there with little hope of any recovery from an accidentally deleted media card however they did the best they could and after a couple of attempts managed to salvage at least some sort of results. Much better than I expected and great communication from Scott who explained everything thoroughly. Although the costs can be high, if its something that is important to you I would definitely recommend these guys as you will be in safe hands.

I’ve always used PAYAM services whenever my family needs an emergency data recovery and their team are very prompt and professional. I knew each step of the recovery process what was required for the best chances of success by their lab team, received regular communication on the progress of my job ticket and immediate contact once the HDD data recovery was completed. Following that I was offered the chance to test the recovery myself and as extra precaution they kept a copy of the recovered data for 7 days following the job being completed. I will happily use PAYAM again if the worst-case scenario happens again.

I was recommended to Payam by AppleCare to recover my files, and AppleCare quoted to repair my laptop after files were recovered for $1500. Low and behold when they returned my laptop (with a backup of all my files on a hard drive) my laptop was working again! I was not charged anything extra, but Payam were able to fix my laptop with all files intact and a backup copy. So whether it was a small fix or a larger part replacement, I can not recommend Payam enough.

Verified Whilst overseas on holidays recently, my camera SD card became inaccessible when trying to back up my precious photos and videos. Living outside of the metro area, Payam Data Recovery were recommended by my local camera store as the best people to recover the data. Their website was very informative and all costs and processes very transparent. Submitting an inquiry, I received a response within hours and was very happy to send the SD card to the Brisbane office. Upon receipt, they immediately checked the card, advising me that they were 99% sure they could recover all files and provided a quote. Throughout the process I was continually informed by Scott McCalman of the process. Within days all my files were recovered onto a hard drive and sent by overnight courier back to me. I was initially a bit disappointed with the lack of communication as I dropped my phone motherboard off to get recovered and I didn't hear anything for a few weeks. I called up and they told me they were busy fixing it, trying different things and ordering parts to keep the cost as low as possible. They were able to fully recover all the data and do so at the minimum cost. I was able to view all the files using Team Viewer to verify the data was successfully recovered before having to pay for it. They sent it back to their office in Melbourne (as I'm located in Melbourne and the lab is Sydney) and I could pick it up at no cost. The technicians were awesome in explaining exactly what went wrong (which as I suspected was a component on the motherboard itself that was faulty and could be repaired without doing a chip transplant) and made me feel confident to bring in a couple of old hard drives that I have had no luck recovering myself. Highly recommend this team and I'll be coming back with hard drive- which the team assured me includes a free assessment before doing anything!

Was best priced in the market too. Dropped off a non-functional phone and received a hard drive back within 2 weeks! Losing data you thought was on an external HDD = bad Dealing with the fact that you may never get your data back = worse Dealing with Payam = PRICELESS!! These guys are the best in the trade. I just want to write a massive THANK YOU to Payam Data Recovery and specifically Awn from the accounts department for helping me so much. My 5 year old hard drive that contained a bunch of my personal photos and filed completely failed and died randomly, and I was referred to Payam by my local IT guys. I was horrified to find out that the last year or so of files wasn't backing up and that I had actually lost many photos including irreplaceable photos of my daughter and family. From the very first phone call, Payam were quick, efficient and explained the process to me thoroughly. They were honest and explained to me about the nature of this work and how it is difficult to guarantee. Within a week I had my hard drive packed and sent to them (they even referred me to my local Pack and Send for safe shipment) and they had quickly assessed the work for me. They were very transparent and honest about costs, and they were also very honest that the recovery work may or may not be successful. I received CONSTANT updates - through email and text. And the updates were DETAILED. Every step of the process they were up to, I received updates. Within a few short weeks they were able to amazingly recover over 70,000 photos and files, only 40 files were damaged beyond repair. Awn from their accounts department was incredible to work with. I was not expecting my hard drive to fail, and I understand the costs involved, but I couldn't afford this cost upfront. And Awn explained options to me, including a 6 and 12 month payment plan, which saved me and my personal photos and files! After my first payment, my recovered files were safely and quickly sent back to me via express secure post on a quality hard drive, and it was packaged SO WELL! The mental anguish I suffered as my hard drive was failing, knowing that I had not backed up my photos and files properly, thinking I had lost irreplaceable photos of my family was completely turned around from my very first contact with the team at Payam. They took my stress, explained every detail of the process, my options, payment options and were very honest about the process. They kept me updated every step of the way. These guys are the BEST IN THE BUSINESS! THANK YOU PAYAM!!!!

Verified hello everyone, My laptop crashed and my whole thesis work went away, as I never did any backup (please always do backup ) and just one month left for submission at university of South Queensland. And I was stuck in Fiji for covid19 lockdown and it seems my whole career went upside down as there is no hard disc recovery service in FIJI. so I browsed and browsed and first called Australian data recovery sydney. I communicated with one guy called Alvin. He gave me very high rates i.e 500Aud for just inspection and then recovery rates extra and the worst part they responds after 48-72 hours. So i got impatient and then I tried Payam recovery services and found the rates very reasonable and (no inspection charges also) and also gave them a call to confirm, the reception team was very good, supportive and it was 24x7 and they immediately guided me to send the Hard disc without any further delay. And then all the way from Fiji to Sydney I shipped the hard disc and can you imagine in just 5 days i got everything back in just 800 Aud including a new external hard drive. The price is worth as you will get all the documents, your family albums, everything back in a new external harddrive and they also gave me an option to recover my documents from a Idrive. The best part was they communicate you back fast. so i almost got my life back, thanks to Payam for your quick response and support, you just cant imagine, how you saved my life.

Verified "When my hard drive was literally fried, I cried buckets of tears as I had over 20 years of both professional and precious personal information stored on it. On contacting Payam and speaking to the wonderful staff, I was immediately reassured that if there was anything they could do to retrieve the information - they would do it! I sent the hard drive in and 6 weeks later I received the news that I had been hoping against hope to hear but didn't really feel I would hear it……."The clone we got from your damaged drive was 99%"!!!! I'm sure anyone in my position would know how utterly amazing that was to hear and how grateful I was to all the staff at Payam, especially the Data Recovery Lab Manager, who was never too busy to reply to my emails, no matter how many I sent him! And trust me………..I sent a lot!!! I can't recommend them highly enough -they are brilliant, professional and if you need a miracle - then Payam is the company you are looking for!"

Verified Apple recommended Payam when I couldn't access my old iPhoto albums from a back up. We had a few issues to begin with in that it appeared that Payam delivered an automated service of data repair and had neglected to read my specific request, however once I highlighted this they were very apologetic and resolved the concern within a week so that I had all of my data restored as per my request. Delivered as promised, very professional and streamlined, communicating the process throughout. Not sure about the cost as this is my first experience with data recovery, it was very expensive (all up around $1800 but with a discount and including freight and back up drive) but akin to a mechanic repair shop, they are specialists and you trust that this is appropriate.

My hard drive with all my important personal photos and videos just didn't boot up one day when I plugged it in, so I took it to a small computer shop a friend said did data recovery quite cheap, I thought if they had no luck I'd go to one of the bigger places. BAD IDEA! The first place couldn't recover anything and said most likely all my data was lost and as a last resort I could try Payam Data Recovery as they were the best. When I took it to Payam and saw Paolo, it turned out the first place I'd tried had actually damaged my drive further! I was devastated, expecting there was no chance of recovery. Within 10 days Paolo rang me back to let me know they had recovered everything! AMAZING! I was thrilled. I doubt many other places could've have done the job they did, they are the professionals, you can trust that they will do the best job possible. Paolo was great to deal with and I can't thank you all enough!! It's very obvious to me now to always go to the best place first and not the cheaper option. It's just not worth it. If your data is important to you - go to these guys!

I trusted a reputable storage drive only to find that it failed. The team were able to recover priceless memories including videos and photos. Their service is great, they are very professional and also very considerate. We have to remember that it’s not their fault our drives and sometimes lack of time/effort to backup went belly up. Yes, it’s not a cheap exercise to get our data back, but when we do, what we paid for doesn’t seem that bad. I had 16 years worth of photos and video’s on my drive. so it cost me around $100/year to recover. Yeah, I can get additional storage with google photos for around the same price, but, I didn’t...... so, like many others, I had to turn to the professionals, and luckily they didn’t disappoint. So now, I will double backup!!! No disrespect but I hope I never have to use their services again...... 😁

Verified I am writing this review to highly recommend the wonderful team at Payam. These guys are so honest and genuine, and truly care about their customers by providing them with the best service possible. Their dedication to helping people is far beyond what I've ever experienced before. They understand people are anxious about their lost data, so they do a wonderful job in communicating well throughout the whole data recovery process. I've recently moved, and live far away from any Payam location, however, I wont go through anyone else, as I have so much trust in the team. It's going to cost me a fair bit, as I've neglected a few of my memory cards over the years (one had completely crumbled to pieces, and they could still fix it!). Anyway, so they're helping me with a payment plan to suit my budget and time frame. Plus any payments I make, will be refunded to me if data is unable to be recovered. I honestly can't recommend Payam highly enough, as these guys are so committed to looking after their customers with the highest level of service.

A software glitch broke my 4x4TB RAID 5 array and I was scared to have lost the lot. Craig from PAYAM St Kilda Road took on the task of virtually recreating the RAID 5 array and was 100% successful. I took the drive to a local IT shop who advised the hard drive was corrupted and he did not have the technology to recover. Without hesitation he said he was confident Mark from Payam was required. Payam were so professional in their clear communication, likelihood of success and keeping me informed all the way. It took a solid 3 weeks but in the end all data was recovered. We are so grateful for this professional service and the care taken to recover all data from a seemingly dead drive. Verified Our 4 drive business storage device had been unsuccessfully backing up for over 6 months (without our knowledge). Upon a second drive failing we finally became aware of the issue.
