Payam Data Recovery recovers data from faulty or damaged hard drives, SSDs, RAID and NAS systems, servers, Apple iPhones and iPads, Apple MacBooks and iMacs, mobile phones, USB flash drives, memory cards, Microsoft Surface devices and all other brands. All work is done in Australia by our own data recovery engineers and is never outsourced overseas. Over 2,000 IT companies and repair shops across Australia, and data recovery labs in other countries, send us the cases they cannot complete.

Apple lists Payam Data Recovery as one of three recommended third-party data recovery providers at https://support.apple.com/en-au/102020. Payam Data Recovery is not an Apple Authorised Service Provider.

## How to engage

Hard drives, SSDs, RAID, NAS, USB drives, memory cards and Apple computers: the assessment and quote are free and take 1 to 2 business days. The customer receives a written quote explaining the fault, the fix, the cost and the time, and approves it before any chargeable work begins. About 90% of our jobs are no fix, no fee. The hardest 10% carry an attempt fee. High risk work such as head replacement, dead SSD controllers, deleted or reformatted drives and RAID recovery carries a non-refundable attempt fee that is part of the total quoted price and is always stated in the quote before approval. Hard drive recovery starts from $375 including GST. Economy price ranges shown on our website: hard drives and SSDs $375 to $1,750, USB flash drives $375 to $1,500, memory cards $375 to $1,250, MacBooks and iMacs $375 to $2,000, Microsoft Surface $375 to $1,500, RAID and NAS about $800 to about $5,000. Complex multi-drive cases, damaged heads on hard drives over 6TB and drives already opened by someone else are quoted individually. Priority and Emergency are faster and cost more. Mobile phones and tablets: fixed price, no assessment or quote. $795 Economy, $1,500 Priority or $2,500 Emergency, including GST. Phones and tablets are no fix, no fee in about 99% of cases, and you see your files before you pay. The customer must know the device passcode. Recovered data is returned on a new drive. If we recover your data and you pay, return delivery is free within Australia and to New Zealand. Return delivery to other countries is quoted at cost. ## Laboratories and secure drop-off offices

Four full service data recovery labs and two secure drop-off offices across Australia. Post from anywhere in Australia or overseas to our main data recovery lab in Rhodes, NSW. Devices handed in at the Adelaide and Perth secure drop-off offices are sent to Rhodes, NSW by overnight courier at no cost, and recovered data is returned to the customer at no charge.

A backup of recovered data is kept for two weeks after collection or posting, then securely erased. We sign NDAs and confidentiality agreements on request.

## What this company does not do

- Not an Apple Authorised Service Provider and not an Apple Store.
- Not a walk-in phone repair shop, and not a consumer iCloud or Time Machine restore service.
- Does not unlock a phone or tablet without the customer’s passcode.
- Adelaide and Perth are secure drop-off offices staffed by our reception team, not labs; the recovery work for those jobs is done in Rhodes, NSW.
- Quote approval and payment pages are for the named customer only, not a public catalogue.

## Optional

Methods include head replacement in an ISO 5 certified laminar flow cabinet, PCB and firmware repair, chip-off and monolith recovery, RAID reconstruction, and board-level repair of Apple devices. Tools in use include Ace Lab PC-3000, DeepSpar Disk Imager, Atola Insight Forensic and UFS Explorer.
